“That’s a stupid idea.”
“Stick to what you know.”
“You can’t afford that.”
“No one would say yes to that.”
“I would never do that.”
“That is too risky.”
“No one wants to hear that from you.”
“You’re too young”
“You’re too old.”
“You’re not serious, right?.” - I’ve heard them all... 😔
And the more I share and grow, the more risk I take, the more I step into a bigger life, the more I hear it...
But... guess what? OTHER PEOPLE’S OPINION IS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS.
It’s called “opinion” for a reason. It’s not the TRUTH.💥
Other people’s opinions used to run me. I used to ask for approval. I cared (way too much) what others thought.
It could become a problem when it gets between you and your goals and vision.
So how do you fix this?
Here is what I do: I ask myself, “Mich, whose life are you living?” and “Who are you living for?”
Whenever I do that, it puts things back into perspective and it reminds me that ultimately, the decision is mine alone. Others opinion is just that, an opinion.
You see, others opinions do not pay our bills.
Others opinions don’t keep us warm at night.
Others opinions are merely a reflection of THEIR own experiences, beliefs and missed goals.
Their opinions don’t “protect us”.
What others opinions do for us is distracting us from our vision, our goals, our hopes and dreams.
Anything is POSSIBLE for you, so do not muddy that belief with someone’s “opinion.”
Be careful who you seek guidance from.
What would you go for if you stop caring about others opinion?👇🏻

“I got hit.”
I believe that's the last thing any of us would want to hear from a friend/ family who got caught in a traffic accident.
Reality is, if you've been on the roads long enough, there will come a point where you'll realise accidents are inevitable, just a matter of whether it's a serious one or not.
I've had my fair share too.
In any accident, however big or small, it's important to remain calm at all times and take note of the key things you’d need to do.
✔ Check for injuries. If you notice any, call 995 immediately.
✔ Take photos of the accident scene without moving any of the vehicles involved. This is important for insurance companies and the police to help determine the cause and impact of the accident.
✔ Exchange particulars of of drivers/ riders involved. Note down the name, contact, address, vehicle registration plate details. Do also take note of the time, date and location of the accident as this would be required in the police report that you make.
✔ Regardless of whether there are any claims/ injury in an accident, you must report it to your insurance provider within 24 hours from the time of accident. This is to ensure your interests are protected at all times. If you fail to do so, not only will you stand to be at the disadvantage, you may risk losing your NCD too.
Make sure you keep yourself and your family safe on the roads with comprehensive insurance like what DirectAsia Insurance offers.
You can tailor your policy with different optional benefits and they even have a dedicated specialist to attend to your policy needs so do check them out and stay safe wherever you are!
Always.

「Suck」
=================================
例えば、「ストローで吸う」は“Suck on a straw.”、「ペロペロキャンディーをなめる」は“Suck on a lollipop.”、「私の息子は親指をしゃぶります」は“My son sucks his thumb.” その他、“Vacuum cleaners suck dust from the floor.”
--------------------------------------------------
1) ____ sucks
例えば、「この料理は最悪だ」は“This food sucks.”、「この映画はつまらない」は“That movie sucks.”、「私の仕事は最悪だ」は“My job sucks.”
<例文>
That restaurant has a nice vibe, but the food sucks.
I don't get what the hype is all about. I thought that movie sucked.
My job sucks. It doesn't pay well and I have to work long hours.
--------------------------------------------------
2) That sucks
--------------------------------------------------
“That sucks.”
その場合は、“I'm very sorry.”や“I'm sorry to hear that.”
<例文>
The tickets sold out? That sucks.
I can't believe your flight got delayed for 8 hours. That sucks.
That sucks. If I were you, I would have complained to the manager.
A: I just needed one more point to pass! It's so frustrating.
B: Ah man, that sucks.
A: I was supposed to study abroad in Vancouver this year, but it got canceled because of the coronavirus.
B: Are you serious? That sucks. Hopefully, you can go next year.
A: It was raining the whole time I was there. It was terrible.
B: Wow, that sucks. I had a similar experience when I went to Thailand last year.
--------------------------------------------------
3) Suck(s) at ____
例えば、「私はビリヤードが下手です」は“I suck at pool.”、「彼は運転が下手です」は“He sucks at driving.”、「彼女は絵を描くのが苦手です」は“She sucks at drawing.”
“You suck!”
✔「(彼は)〜が下手」→「(He) sucks at _____」
<例文>
I suck at cooking. I go to the convenience store or order on Uber Eats every day.
He seriously sucks at driving. Honestly, he shouldn't be on the road. It's hazardous.
Is she really a professional singer? She sucks. She can't carry a tune.
I suck at cooking. The only thing I can make is cup noodles.
I suck at math. I never liked math ever since I was a kid.
He really sucks. He needs more practice.
--------------------------------------------------
4) Suck it up
<例文>
Look. I know you're exhausted, but suck it up. We have to finish this by today.
My leg cramped up during the marathon, but I sucked it up and finished the race.
Don't put off your project. Just suck it up and finish tonight.
A: It's too hot. I don't want to do this anymore.
B: Suck it up. We're almost done. Let's finish up.

are you serious 在 Chris Lewis Youtube 的最讚貼文
?? Greetings from Hanoi, Vietnam. This is my first vlog from quarantine. As you guys may know, Vietnam is going through its 4th covid wave, and this one is quite serious in comparison to the others. Lockdowns are in place, and I don't feel comfortable meeting people and traveling at the moment. Nor is it smart or safe. As such, I'm trying to find other ways to make videos, and also use this time to improve on my own skills. One skill I really want to improve is cooking. I don't know how to cook well, despite having lived on my own for nearly 7 years. I want to use this time to learn how to cook.
It might seem strange, but I thought a great way to start to learn to cook would be with something super simple, like instant noodles. Instant noodles are the thing you make when you don't want to cook. They're literally just soup with salt and water and wheat noodles. But the physicist in me says, to be a good cook means taking something, simple ingredients and knowing how to make it amazing, based on cooking principles. As such, I want to start off this cooking series with instant noodles, and see how far I can take it.
In this video me and my chef buddy @Trái tim chàng trai Nhật【KiKi.Jp】 review a famous Vietnamese instant noodle named "Mì Hảo Hảo", as I try to plan out my method of attack for turning instant noodles into something great. Join me. This is quarantine content, haha.
